How do I add Google+ commenting to my Ghost blog?

The following guide outlines how to add Google+ commenting to your Ghost blog.

Add the Google+ comments script to your post.hbs file

To add Google+ commenting to your blog, you will need to open your post.hbs file, and paste in the following code below, anywhere after the {{content}}, but before the closing {{/post}} references.

<section class="comment">
   <div class="g-comments" data-href="[email protected]}}{{url}}" data-first_party_property="BLOGGER" data-view_type="FILTERED_POSTMOD">Loading Google+ Comments ...</div>
    <script async type="text/javascript" src="//apis.google.com/js/plusone.js?callback=gpcb"></script>
    <noscript>Please enable JavaScript to view the <a href="https://plus.google.com/">comments powered by Google+.</a></noscript>
</section>

Save your post.hbs file and update your theme

Once you've added the Google+ commenting code, you will need to save your post.hbs file, and re-upload your theme to your Ghost blog for the changes to take effect.

Using Ghost(Pro)?
To upload your theme, you'll need to access your blog's settings on Ghost.org. If you need help, checkout How to upload a theme to your Ghost(Pro) blog or contact us at [email protected] for additional Ghost(Pro) support.
